In February 2026, the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development (MoPIED) made significant progress in strengthening coordination, aligning policies, and actively participating in development efforts, all as part of its National Transformation Plan (2025–2029).

MoPIED led key high-level consultations, engaged proactively with donors, and implemented transformative institutional reforms aimed at advancing food security, improving drought response, establishing robust monitoring and evaluation systems, and promoting strategic investments.

These ambitious initiatives highlight the Government’s strong commitment to sustainable development, national ownership, and making tangible progress toward long-term resilience and inclusive economic growth.
