Introduction

This monthly newsletter for December 2025 provides an overview of the activities, strategic engagements, and key achievements carried out by the Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development at both the federal and federal member state levels, as well as with partners during December.

The newsletter highlights the Ministry’s leadership in coordinating development planning, implementing the National Transformation Plan (NTP 2025–2029), strengthening international partnerships, and enhancing monitoring, evaluation, and accountability systems.

During December, the Ministry focused on strengthening collaboration between the Federal Government and Federal Member States; holding consultations on the United Nations Cooperation Framework (UNCF 2026–2030); enhancing the capacity of government institutions; and leading national responses to emergencies such as drought.

Overall, this newsletter reflects the Ministry’s strategic direction, the results achieved, and the next steps necessary to accelerate sustainable development in line with national priorities.
