General Overview

October 2025 was a month of intensive collaboration between the Ministry and development partners, focusing on accelerating the implementation of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) 2025–2029. Key highlights included strengthening cooperation with the World Bank to improve planning, coordination, and M&E; signing a development cooperation agreement in Mogadishu between Somalia and Germany; establishing the Interim Executive Committee of SOMES to unify the evaluation community; holding national-level consultations with the UN, WFP, FAO, Save the Children, and others to align programmes with NTP priorities; ongoing monitoring and accountability led by the M&E Department; and increasing private-sector participation to create jobs and boost economic growth. These efforts demonstrated transparency, data sharing, and a results-driven approach to sustainable development.
