EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The result monitoring exercise of the UNICEF-supported interventions across the country was meant to eventually assess and identify the level of engagement and awareness of the program/ project key stakeholders including government line ministries, the project target communities, and implementing partners’ staff on the design, plan and implementation of the respective interventions in their localities. Consequently, the overall section processes in both geographic project areas and beneficiaries, the total reach segregated per sector (protection, health and nutrition, education, and WASH), and challenges encountered during the implementation processes supplemented by the practical recommendations were also considered and revealed within the exercise.
The assignment utilized the qualitative approach techniques through tailor-made desk study focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and observational checklist tools. The team from government line ministries, FGS and FMS, conducted systematic interviews with 80 respondents, selected from a variety of community backgrounds. It was believed that the respondent could provide the required information because of their involvement in the sampling interventions and their various background communities.
