MoPIED Unveils Mid-term Review Report of Somalia’s National Development Plan (NDP9): Progress, Challenges, and Recommendations

The Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development in Somalia launched the Mid-term Review Report of the National Development Plan (NDP9). This report covers the first 30 months of NDP implementation and was attended by top officials from the Federal Government, Federal Member States, development partners, civil society organizations, and distinguished guests. The report highlights significant progress made towards achieving the targets and objectives set under the four pillars of NDP-9. While some gaps and challenges were identified, the report provides practical recommendations for improvement in the plan’s final phase from 2023–2024.
