EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report presents the findings of Annual Joint Resilient Measurement (AJRM) on Somalia Resilience Programme (SomReP).
The report is produced on annual basis in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development and federal and state line ministries and agencies.
The purpose of the AJRM was to assess the relevance, effectiveness and impact of the programme and discern the extent to which gains brought by the SomReP to target communities would be sustained and provide actionable recommendations to the stakeholders.
The AJRM teams adopted entirely qualitative and participatory methods involving focus group discussion at community level, key informant interviews with community representative, local authorities and staff from SomReP agencies. In addition to a desk research, the AJRM conducted a total of 23 focus group discussion and 7 Key informant interviews in Baidoa, Beledweyn and Doolow through semi-structured questionnaires.
The geographical scope for AJRM was the entire regions served by the programme. However, the AJRM collected data only from a portion of selected communities in Baidoa, Beledweyn Doolow, The AJRM was carried out between January 25th and February 26th, 2024), with field data gathering occurring between February 3rd and February 11th ,2024.
