Training and Development Section
The Training and Development Section play an important role within the Human Resource Management Department, focused on enhancing ministry effectiveness through developing training programs and learning management. This section is tasked with identifying the training needs of employees at all levels, ensuring that programs are aligned with both individual career aspirations and the strategic objectives of the Ministry. By employing a variety of instructional methodologies, including workshops, e-learning, and mentorship programs, the section aims to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Additionally, the Training and Development Section conducts regular assessments to evaluate the impact of training initiatives, thereby ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with emerging ministry needs. The Training and Development Section consists of the following units:
1. The Training Programs Unit
Is responsible for increasing employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities required for effective job performance and career development. This unit aims to improve individual performance by addressing existing skill gaps, preparing employees for new responsibilities, and aligning employee capabilities with every departmental goal at the ministry.
2. The Learning and Knowledge Management Unit
Under the Training Section of the HR Department is responsible for building a learning organization that continuously improves through knowledge sharing, capacity building, and innovation. Facilitating workshops, as well as documenting and storing the Ministry’s knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
3. The Employee Engagement and Well-being Unit
Focuses on creating a motivated, engaged, and healthy workforce by promoting job satisfaction, emotional resilience, and a positive work environment. In the Training and Development Section, this area ensures that employees are not only skilled but also motivated, supported, and mentally prepared to perform effectively. This unit also promotes wellness programs such as health awareness sessions and mentoring support. Encourage a supportive and inclusive work environment.
4. HR Risk Management Unit
Potential risks that could affect employee performance, development, or the overall success of training and development initiatives.
5. The Career Development Unit
Focuses on establishing clear career progression pathways for management positions and provides guidance and resources for career growth in the management structure.
