Launch of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) 2025-2029

Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre has kicked off the preparation of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) for 2025-2029, aiming to steer Somalia towards sustainable development, economic stability, and long-term prosperity. The launch event held in Mogadishu brought together stakeholders from the Federal Government, Federal Member States, the United Nations, international partners, and civil society organizations.

Strengthening Somalia-EU Partnership

The Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mohamud A. Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene), recently met with Karin Johansson, the EU Ambassador to Somalia. The discussion centered on enhancing the Somalia-EU partnership, with both parties underscoring their commitment to advancing socio-economic progress and promoting peace and stability in the region.
