NATIONAL DURABLE SOLUTIONS CONFERENCE

The DSU-MoPIED intends to hold a two-day High-Level National Somalia National Durable Solutions Conference under the theme “Enhancing Coordination to address Displacement through Development Solutions” in Mogadishu on 27^th and 28^th February 2023. The conference will bring together actors, including government authorities, donors, humanitarian and development actors, civil society, academia and the private sector, will not only serve as a platform for making meaningful engagements and partnerships but also facilitate knowledge and experience sharing on best practices on how development approaches can prevent, protect and find solutions for displacement-affected communities.  These actors not only contributed their expertise but also pledged to play a leading role during the implementation phase of the Strategy.
