Recovery and Resilience Section
The section of resilience, as being part of the planning departmental sections, is responsible for coordinating all resilience activities and prioritizing and sequencing of recovery and resilience interventions. It has been established to lead and scrutinize the resilience programs.
Key Functions
- Coordinating all resilience activities and programs
- Ensuring all resilience activities and interventions are aligned with the National Development Plan
- Prioritizing and sequencing of recovery and resilience interventions
- Promoting government lead/ownership
- Co-chair resilience sub-working group
- Updating DINA and RRF documents through consultations with both FMS and FGS line ministries
- Strengthen gender and human rights and mainstream it into different Pillar Working Groups
- Strengthen partnerships with different stakeholders
- Promoting linkages between implementing partners (stakeholders) and the relevant line Ministries for resilience projects and programs
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among government, civil society and private sectors
